Haircut!! 3/28/2012

Sakura got haircut!! She now looks thinner!! The thick, furry hair makes Sakura seem bigger than her actual size!! Before Sakura got haircut, I thought she gained some weight but after her haircut, I realize that that was just her hair!!

Rain = Can’t Go for a Walk..... ;(

It was raining like cats and dogs today....the climate here is dry, so we don't get much rains, but recently, there are lots of rainy days. Sakura hates rainy days because she can't go for a walk. Walking is something that Sakura is always excited about. She loves to go outside. She looks like she's about to cry lol....

Sakura Plays a Piccolo?!

I took a picture of Sakura holding my piccolo. I edit on photoshop and made the whole picture black and white except for my piccolo. I added the color on it to emphasize the piccolo. At the bottom is a picture of my flute and the famous piece called Mozart flute concerto in G major by Mozart. This is the piece that all the flutist have to play at some point.(like auditions, competitions, etc) It's hard, but fun piece to play!

Happy Pie Day!! 2012

Happy Pie Day!! Today is known as a pie (or pi) day because it is March 14th! As you know, in math when you want to find out the circumference or area of the circle, you use pi or 3.14 to solve for the it. Just a fun fact, 3.14 looks like a PIE spelled backwards. ;)

Pray for Japan

It has been a year since the devastating event; earthquake and tsunami struck in Japan. Many people lost their homes, frineds, families, their loving ones, and most importantly, thier lives. Even a year has passed, people still suffer from this event. Unfortunately since Sakura and I don't live in Japan, we can't do anything for them but to hope for things to get better. We hope that everything will go well as soon as possible. Please take a few minutes today(3/11/2012) to think about this event and how people went through tough times but stayed strong.

Happy Leap Day!!!

Sakura loves to play with cushions that are on the sofa. She would tackle them and try to knock them down until all the cushions aren't on sofa. I took a picture of Sakura hiding in a cushion which I thought was cute! :)
